AAHVE Workgroup’s Community of Practice Space
We’re excited to continue to the Consortium’s African American Home Visiting Engagement (AAHVE) Workgroup’s Community of Practice Space —a dedicated, ongoing forum for home visitors to connect, share, and discuss how to better support African American home visiting families and staff - will continue this fiscal year!
This is not a mandatory training, but rather a reflective, peer-led space open to all direct service providers in Los Angeles County, regardless of home visiting model, organization, or funding source.
The space is facilitated by TaVia Wooley, a dedicated community leader and policy advocate. Her organization plays a crucial role in the Antelope Valley AAIMM initiative and the Village Fund, leading efforts in community leadership development, policy advocacy, and community-centered work. Please share this invitation with home visitors and other direct service providers, and let us know if you have any questions!
The meetings will take place quarterly from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on:
August 12, 2026
November 11, 2026
February 10, 2027
May 12, 2027
